At some point in time in each of our lives, if not on a regular basis, we've probably asked "what's it all about and what's it all for?" We probably did so under our breath in the safe haven within our own thoughts. Heaven forbid a neighbor or coworker, who's apparently "got it all together", senses our weakness, right? How useful would it be to gain and share male perspectives on today's issues? What benefit would it be to confidentially exchange ideas on challenges you face? What are the Biblical basis of personal worth, purpose, integrity, behavior and actions?
One way to improve our understanding in these areas takes getting involved with other men and committing some time and effort. The focus is on our "i-sight" or the four "i" fundamentals:
- Integrity Does my walk match my talk?
- Identity Does who I am define what I do? (Not visa versa!)
- Influence Am I an active player on the world’s field or a spectator
- Intimacy "In-to-me-see" what I am, who I am and where I'm going.
